The Triton women's team captured a share of its first Big West regular season title over the weekend, posting a 17-3 record in conference action. With postseason play beginning Friday, UC San Diego has already set a Division I program record for wins in a season with 22 and counting.
The men's team enters the postseason having also won 22 games – including five of its last six. Head coach Clint Allard led this year's Tritons to a title in the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational in November and at 10-1, the team got off to the best start in the program's Division I history. The 2025-26 season is the program's third consecutive 20-win season.
Both teams will begin play in the Credit Union 1 Big West Championships later this week at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson, Nev. UC San Diego won both the men's and women's titles last year at this event.
