LAFAYETTE, La.— UC San Diego baseball fell to Louisiana, 8-0, on Saturday afternoon at Russo Park. The Tritons (4-5) were held to just one hit against Ragin' Cajuns (8-3) to even the weekend series 1-1.

Nic Gregson (0-3) started for UC San Diego, pitching 5.0 innings and allowing four earned runs on seven hits while striking out three. He threw 78 pitches, 46 of which were strikes, and faced 26 batters.
Garrett Davidson pitched one inning  in relief and conceding two earned runs on two hits.
Quincey Brown pitched the final 2.0 innings, yielding two earned runs on four hits without issuing any walks.
