Â
The Tritons took the game to San Jose State to start the second half, holding a good amount of possession and stringing together several promising chances. The home side's best look of the night came in the 55th minute when
Nate Morgan's shot from outside of the box struck the left post and bounced out.
Â
Brown's red card came on contact that was initially not called, but the referee ultimately decided to give the card after video review. That decision left the Tritons with 10 men for the remaining 30 minutes.

QUOTABLE
"San Jose State is a fantastic team," head coach
Jon Pascale said. "We have watched them play a lot on film, and I had not seen them up against it like we had them in the start of the second half. I am proud of the way the guys did, especially with a lot of young guys. That team is hard enough to play against when it is 11v11, and I thought we really came at them in the second half up until the red card."
