HOW IT HAPPENED

Coming back from the break the Mustangs extended the lead to 3-0 in the 58th minute off a corner kick. Their final goal came in the 66th minute from another corner kick. The Mustangs were awarded five corner kicks during the match compared to UC San Diego's one.

The Tritons came back stronger in the second, registering six shots after the break. None found the back of the net though, as the match ended 4-0. UC San Diego goalkeeper Nic Thiele recorded one save in the second half.
