LA JOLLA, Calif. – Beset by injuries, UC San Diego persevered to earn a 5-2 victory over Weber State Wednesday morning at Northview Tennis Courts. The Tritons won doubles on courts three and two before winning the first three singles matches to clinch the win over the defending Big Sky Conference champions.
The victory stopped a four-match slide for UC San Diego.

Katelyn Vu's 6-1, 7-6 (4) win at No. 5 over Sydney Schnell. Sophomore
Grace Gamal clinched the win for the home team with her 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Lolofie at No. 3. Pearson was also a winner for the Tritons, 3-6, 6-0, 7-5 at No. 4.
