LA JOLLA, Calif. – Wrapping up their weekend at home, the UC San Diego men's tennis team dropped their match to the Gonzaga Bulldogs by a 6-1 final score on Sunday afternoon at the Northview Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Looking to bounce back from yesterday's loss, the Tritons got off to a fast start in doubles as they picked up victories from the
William Lan and
Daniel Traxler pairing as well as
Carson Lee and
Phillip Lan to take the early lead with the doubles point.
Gonzaga would go on to take control of the rest of the match as they won all six singles matches that took place on Sunday afternoon as they earned the 6-1 road victory over UC San Diego.

TRITON TIDBIT
- With their win on Sunday, the pairing of W. Lan and Traxler improved their season record to 3-2 which is currently the best mark on the Tritons.
- Lee and P. Lan were also able to emerge victorious against a strong opponent as they earned their first victory of the season and now boast a 2-3 record this season.
- After their victory in doubles today, the Tritons have won the doubles point in two of their last four matches dating back to their win over Villanova at the end of February.

UC San Diego's next match will be this Thursday at home as they're set to welcome the Indiana Hoosiers to the Northview Tennis Courts on March 14 for an 11:00 a.m. first serve.
