SAN DIEGO – Follow along with us as the UC San Diego men's and women's basketball teams journey on a foreign tour to Italy! Over the next 10 days, we'll visit historic sites and learn about the rich culture and traditions while also playing plenty of basketball. Each team will play three games during the trip. Along our adventure, we'll visit Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice and more.
 
The teams left campus at 4:45 a.m. PDT Tuesday morning and made our way here to San Diego International Airport. We'll fly to Dallas and then connect on the 5,608-mile flight from DFW to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. CEST Wednesday morning.

About UC San Diego Athletics
