LA JOLLA, Calif.—On the heels of a successful 2022 campaign, UC San Diego baseball scholar-athletes are busy this summer, participating in Collegiate Summer Ball around the country.
Seventeen current Tritons and eight incoming freshmen are in action this summer across the country in eight different leagues. The Tritons can be found in Alaska, California, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Victoria, B.C.
Seven Tritons are competing in the West Coast League, while six are competing in the California Collegiate League and three in the Independence League.

After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program has begun a new era as a member of the Big West Conference in NCAA Division I.
