DAVIS, Calif. – The UC San Diego women's tennis team resumed Big West play and fell by a 4-0 score at UC Davis on Wednesday morning at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Aggies jumped out to a 1-0 lead early by sweeping all three doubles positions. After a 6-3 win at No. 2, UC Davis edged the Tritons' Ella Pachl and Anu Bhadada at No. 1, 7-5, to clinch the point. Shortly thereafter, the home team edged UC San Diego's Rachel Wagner and Adriana Tabares, 7-6 (3).
 
In singles play, UC Davis earned straight set wins at No. 3, 4, and 2 to win the match. UC San Diego sophomore Ella Pachl led 7-6 at No. 1 when the Aggies clinched the victory.
