SAN DIEGO—UC San Diego women's rowing competed in the San Diego Fall Classic on Saturday morning at Crown Point Park on Mission Bay. The Tritons placed fourth in both the women's open 8+ and open 4+ and third in the women's novice 8+, facing tough competition from around the southwest.
WOMEN'S OPEN 8+
UC San Diego's second varsity eight finished fourth in the women's open 8+ with a time of 17:20.154, trailing behind San Diego (B), USC (A) and USC (C) to finish just off the podium. The top Triton team consisted of Nicole Djordevic (C),
Sabrina Koldinger,
Jessy Li,
Sydney Colburn, Jaime Press,
Erika Rohloff, Clara Radeker, Natasha Vallancy and Matti Key.
The third eight finished eighth (18:03.002) and the varsity eight finished ninth with an adjusted time of 18:08.765.
WOMEN'S OPEN 4+
The Tritons' varsity four placed fourth in the women's open 4+ with a time of 20:14.051, just behind USC (B), USC (A) and San Diego (A). The fastest Triton team consisted of

Sophia Gordon,
Hailey Caldwell-Meurer and Press.
UC San Diego's second four finished in sixth place with a time of 20:56.794, and the third varsity four placed ninth with a time of 22:30.610.
WOMEN'S OPEN FROSH/NOVICE 8+
UC San Diego's freshman eight placed third on the podium with an adjusted time of 18:56.777, trailing USC (A) and Arizona State (A). The top finishers for UC San Diego consisted of Samantha Chan (C), Rachel Cuneo, Laine Bradley, Annica Ford, Audra Lawler, Kyra Allen, Matti Key, Natasha Vallancy and Peyton Fisk.
