LA JOLLA, Calif. – Playing its second match in as many days, the University of California San Diego women's tennis team fell to visiting Ball State by a 6-1 score at Northview Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
An NCAA Division I team, Ball State came out strong and earned the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches. The Tritons' lone doubles victory came from the No. 1 pair of senior captain
Becky Chou and freshman
Rachel Wagner. They earned a 6-1 victory on Wednesday – their sixth straight win at the top spot.

In singles play, Wagner earned the lone point of the match for UC San Diego, thanks to her win at No. 2. She out-lasted her opponent 6-7, 6-3, 10-7. She is now 5-0 at No. 2 singles for the Tritons.
