QUOTABLE
"We won a very hard-fought match in the singles," said UC San Diego coach Liz LaPlante. "Becky [Chou] showed a lot of mental toughness against a very unorthodox player, and I'm super-proud of Rachel [Wagner's] win at No. 2 against a very strong player. All of the tough competition we've had up until now definitely helped us in today's victory."
