LA JOLLA, Calif. - Friday's contest between No. 8 UC San Diego and California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) South Division rival Cal State Dominguez Hills has been moved up to a 12 p.m. first pitch at Triton Ballpark.
The second game of a four-game weekend series had an original start time of 6 p.m., but has been changed to noon in an effort to beat the adverse weather expected in the area later in the day. Live video, with public address audio, will still be provided at a pay-per-view cost of $5.99 at UCSDtritons.tv. General admission is $5. Entry for UCSD students with identification is free, as usual. Parking permits are required on the UCSD campus on weekdays.
The four-game set between the first-place Tritons (16-4, 6-2 CCAA) and fifth-place Toros (7-8, 2-4 CCAA) still begins in primetime on Thursday night, March 10. First pitch at Triton Ballpark is at 6 p.m. After Friday afternoon's meeting, the split-venue series will shift north to Carson and Toro Field for a doubleheader on Sunday, March 13, starting at 11 a.m.
