LA JOLLA, Calif. - The 2014 NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship is coming to UC San Diego and tickets are now on sale.
UCSD is proud to serve as the host of the national championship Dec. 6-7 at Canyonview Aquatic Center on the La Jolla campus.
All-session passes are now available for purchase online. The two-day package includes access to all four of the Championship matches. Prices are $63 for adults and $33 for seniors (65+), youth (5-18) and college students (with ID).
A limited number of all-session passes are available and can only be purchased online. Single day tickets will be for sale at the venue on Dec. 6-7.
This season marks the third time Canyonview Aquatic Center will host the men's NCAA Championship (1996 and 1999). In addition, the 2003 National Collegiate Women's National Championship was also held at UCSD.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to host this Championship for a third time," said UCSD Senior Associate Athletics Director Ken Grosse. "We're looking at this as the biggest men's water polo event in San Diego history and are expecting it will attract a crowd to match the significance of the occasion. With the relatively limited seating, I anticipate it will sell out and be a phenomenal two days of water polo.”
