Single game tickets for the 2026-27 UC San Diego basketball teams are now on sale through the Triton Box Office. The Tritons are set to enter their final season as a member of The Big West. In March, the UC San Diego women became just the second program in NCAA Division I history to play in March Madness their first two seasons eligible to do so. Former UC San Diego standout point guard Hayden Gray has signed a pro contract with the NBA's Boston Celtics. Gray, the 2025 Big West Defensive Player of the Year, became the first Triton to play in an NBA game in April.   Gray suited up for the Utah Jazz on April 12, scoring six points with an assist, steal and block against the Lakers in Los Angeles. After graduating from UC San Diego, he spent most of the 2025-26 season with the Maine Celtics in the NBA G League. The San Diego native appeared in 48 games (23 starts) for the Celtics, averaging 9.9 points, 5.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals in 27.9 minutes per game. UC San Diego men's basketball head coach Clint Allard '08 has announced the Tritons' 2026 non-conference schedule. The Tritons will play four regular season non-conference games on campus in LionTree Arena, including Nov. 7 against Fresno State to highlight UC San Diego's Homecoming Weekend. The Tritons will also host USC in an exhibition game Oct. 17 in La Jolla. That matchup vs. the Trojans will represent the first opportunity for season ticket holders to get a look at this year's Tritons.   "The goal of our non-conference schedule is to prepare us for the 22-game gauntlet that is Big West Conference play, and I feel confident we've accomplished that with challenging home, road and neutral-site opportunities against quality programs from great conferences," Allard said.
